ADHD/EF Coaching

Building Skills That Last a Lifetime

Students with ADHD are incredibly bright, creative and driven, but they often struggle with the executive functioning skills that schools demand. ADHD/EF coaching helps bridge that gap by building practices and personalized strategies, such as organization and time management, that work for each individual student.

Through weekly or bi-weekly sessions, students develop systems for organization, time management, task initiation, nontherapeutic emotional regulation, and self-advocacy. The goal isn’t to get through the semester, it’s to build lasting skills for the future.

Coaching is available for middle school, high school, and college students, and can be coordinated with parents and teachers as needed.

  • Executive functioning skill-building (planning, organization, prioritization)

  • Time Management and study strategy development

  • Nontherapeutic emotional regulation and self-advocacy coaching

  • Weekly or bi-weekly sessions available virtually

“We feel so incredibly lucky to have found Karen and cannot recommend her enough. She’s worked with our son for three years now. Karen didn’t just help him manage his workload; she helped him discover the strategies and skills that worked best for him regarding time management, staying on top of assignments, and test prep. My son discovered his strengths and went from feeling defeated to self-confident. Not only did his grades improve, but he now feels prepared, capable, and proud of his hard work. Karen truly changed the trajectory of his high school experience, and we are so grateful for that.”
